When our family realized Mom needed additional help at home, we wanted a care team we could trust, not just to provide excellent care, but to treat her with the same kindness, dignity, and respect that we would. And we needed it FAST! From our very first conversation with One You Love Homecare of Central Ohio, we knew we had found exactly that.
The caregivers have been dependable, compassionate, and genuinely invested Momโ€™s well-being. They don't just complete tasks, they build relationships, encourage her independence, and make her feel valued every time they walk through the door. Knowing she is in such capable and caring hands has given our entire family tremendous peace of mind.
The communication from Amy, Dr. Buddie and the entire team has been outstanding. They are responsive, thoughtful, and always willing to answer questions or adjust care as Mom's needs change. They also guided us through the long-term care insurance reimbursement process, helping us understand the paperwork and documentation requirements and making what could have been an overwhelming process much easier to navigate.
It's clear that they truly care about the families they serve, and that level of personal attention is rare.
We are incredibly grateful for the support One You Love Homecare has provided my mom and would recommend them without hesitation to any family looking for compassionate, dependable in-home care.

I canโ€™t say enough good about the team of One You Love Homecare. Amy met me at the hospital with my father in law and the communication exceeded our expectations.
The caregivers were always on time with a report every morning.
We could not have managed getting our family to memory care and assisted living without their help.
I would highly recommend them to anyone needing care for a loved one.

We reached out to One you Love Home Care about a month ago when my mom was soon to be released from the hospital. Amy B., the General Manager, was absolutely amazing. She met us at the hospital and met both myself and mom. She answered all of our questions at that initial meeting as well as the many I would send via text in the days ahead. Some days we needed 24 hour care and others less (depending on my availability to support). Amy met all of these requests and some that were very last minute. She was patient with us and arranged wonderful care for mom. ALL of the caregivers were so wonderful. There was not a single negative experience. When mom was more lucid, she would speak so fondly of Freda, Nikola, and Honesty. Honesty was her very favorite. They had a special connection. But truly, all of them were amazing. If you are in need of professional and caring companionship, I highly recommend Amy and One you Love. They helped us, with my most prized possession (my beautiful momma) until she passed. I cannot recommend them enough.

This place is the best!! They have been providing care for my elderly father for 8 hours a day. Above and beyond the previous agency we use - who basically baby sat him. One You Love engages with him, encourages him to participate in activities at the senior home and gives privacy when family visits. Can not say enough!!

24 Hour & โ€จLive-in Care

A friend to help with daily living.โ€‹

Focusing primarily on basic social life and activities of daily living, Companion Care Services offers a wide range of care plans, including:

  • Assistance with moving, dressing and grooming (brushing hair, filing nails, etc.)
  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Meal planning, preparation, cleanup
  • Medication reminders and accompaniment to appointments and errands
  • Respite care for families
  • Cognition improvement games using advanced technology with online care plan assessments and check-ins

For those who require a more hands-on approach to care.

Focusing primarily on physical needs, Personal Care is provided by a trained caregiver who can do everything offered by our Companion Care Services, plus other care needs that require more personalized senior care interactions like:

  • Bathing, dressing, skin, mouth and hair care
  • Measuring temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure
  • Assist with prescribed range of motion (ROM) exercises
  • Assist with the use of ambulation devices (wheelchair, walker, etc.)
  • Assist with the change of a colostomy bag, reinforcement of dressing, etc.
  • Hospital transitions
  • Cognition improvement games using advanced technology โ€จwith online assessments โ€จand check-ins

When we develop your loved one’s care plan, it includes a comprehensive host of offerings based on our exclusive care plan assessment. It takes into consideration the continuum of care as needs change, including incorporating our propietary technology into care planning to help the team deliver the best solution. Extended offerings such as hospital transitions, physician visits and whatever is required for full coverage are also available.*

24 Hour & Live-in Care

Comprehensive care planning incorporates care that starts with the needs of our client today and changes as needs change anywhere from 4-24 hours per day. If Live-In Care is needed, Live-In caregivers can remain in the home to provide care during the day and provide continuity throughout the week. Live-in Services may be added to the Companion Care and Personal Care packages.

Live-in Care is offered by a caregiver who stays in the clientโ€™s residence 24 hours a day.

  • Care will be provided by a caregiver who is qualified to meet the daily level of care needs of the individual client.
  • Caregiver must have uninterrupted sleep time in a separate sleeping room for privacy.

*At times, caregivers may require slightly higher billing rates for specialty care cases or cases that are particularly difficult to cover.

Dr. Mark Buddie, MD

Owner & Operator
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio,ย Dr. Mark Buddieย earned his undergraduate degree fromย Duke Universityย and hisย medical degree from The Ohio State University. For more than 30 years, he has practicedย Family Medicine, Geriatrics, and hospice careย in central Ohio. In addition to maintaining a private practice, Dr. Buddie has served asย Medical Directorย for numerous skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities.ย  A longtime advocate for helping patients live comfortably and independently, he is dedicated to supporting each individualโ€™s ability to remain at home, on their own terms. Dr. Buddie has four adult children and a bonus adult child and lives inย Delaware, Ohio, with his partner,ย Wendy.

Amy Branham

General Manager & Administrator
Amy serves as General Manager for One You Love Home Care, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of compassionate, person-centered care. With more than 30 years of clinical and leadership experience in assisted livingโ€”including roles as Director of Nursing and Regional Director of Resident Careโ€”she brings a deep commitment to dignity, safety, and independence for every client. A Delaware, Ohio native, Amy attended The Ohio State University. Amy is dedicated to supporting local families with responsive, trustworthy home care. She enjoys time with her three adult daughters and remains actively involved in her community.
