We had a great experience with One You Love Homecare. From the very first call, they were responsive, organized, and easy to work with. They moved quickly to get care in place and did exactly what they said they would do.
The caregiver was kind, reliable, and genuinely connected with our family member, which made a huge difference. Communication was excellent throughout—we always knew what was going on.
If you’re trying to keep a loved one at home and want a team that actually shows up and follows through, I would absolutely recommend them.

A few things that really stood out:
The Caregivers: They are truly professional, patient, and—most importantly—kind. It’s clear this isn’t just a job for them; they genuinely care about the well-being and dignity of their clients. Kayley and Anna are the best. They put their heart and soul into their jobs and it shows!
Communication: Christina and office staff is incredibly responsive. Whether it’s a scheduling change or just a quick check-in, they are always professional and easy to reach.
Reliability: They have been consistently on time and proactive, which has taken a huge weight off our family's shoulders.
If you are looking for an agency that treats your family like their own, this is the place to go. Thank you to the entire team for the peace of mind you’ve given us!

A couple hours later, I received a text message from him asking for help. Receiving a text message asking for help when you are hundreds of miles away was deeply concerning when you're paying hundreds of dollars for someone to be there to ensure his needs are being met. Checking the ring camera we had setup outside his room, I could tell the replacement caregiver kept closing the door to his room and with his diminished lung capacity from COPD it is hard for him to yell. The original caregiver, he was able to text (and left his door open at all times), but the replacement would keep his door closed leaving him isolated and without help. Because I was not given the replacement caregiver's number or even name, I was powerless to help. She eventually heard him and came into the room. He requested his morphine, which she couldn't find (again because the information had not been passed on to her--including the detailed information sheet I had printed and left for the caregiver in the kitchen with his MOLST, advanced directive, etc). She called me from my dad's phone at his instruction to ask where the morphine was. I instructed her to it. She found it, and asked if she should give him 1 ml. The correct dose is 0.25 ml. Theoretically, she gave him the correct dose, but I have no way of knowing. All I know, is that my dad became lethargic and very tired after that. (Morphine usually made his mind race--he'd only asked for it three times before.) By the time we were able to get our flight home, the hospice nurse had arrived to check on him. Within a hour of our arriving home, my father stopped breathing and had passed away. It's entirely possible that it was just his time (he was on hospice), and I'm not blaming anyone for his death. The suddenness of his decline shocked the earlier caregiver given his normal condition when she left. I am nonetheless concerned about the lack of information provided to the aides regarding his medication and care, the lack of information passed from one caregiver to the other, and the lack of transparency regarding the aide's identities and training given to us.

I have used them to get to medical appointments. These people really care about their clients. (Lorena is helping me with Spanish too,)

I worked directly with Christina DeMino, Operations Manager, and she was absolutely wonderful. Her response time was excellent, and she was able to secure a qualified aide for my mom very quickly — especially compared to another agency that told me it would take over a week and require looking outside of Maryland.
Christina stayed actively involved, communicated with the aide, addressed concerns immediately, and truly worked with us to ensure my mom received the best possible care. On one occasion when an aide had to suddenly leave, Christina stepped in right away and found a replacement so I could return to work. Plus, a big thank also to Kevin and Julianne, who both reached out to ensure my mom would receive the best care.
After many bad experiences with other agencies, "One You Love Homecare" truly stands out. They communicate, respond, and genuinely care. If you’re looking for dependable home care and peace of mind for your loved one, look no further. I highly recommend them.

Everyone we have met was very friendly, positive and professional
Highly recommend One You Love
