I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and support provided by One You Love Homecare during a difficult time for my family. When faced with the urgent need to travel for a funeral and unable to secure VA arrangements for my father's care, George, the owner, stepped in with unparalleled responsiveness and compassion. He swiftly organized a team of caregivers who not only arrived punctually but also delivered top-notch care to my father. Their professionalism and dedication brought immense peace of mind to both myself and my father during our absence. I wholeheartedly recommend One You Love Homecare to anyone seeking reliable, compassionate, and high-quality home care services. Five stars simply don't seem enough to convey the gratitude we feel.

One You Love Home Care provided excellent service when I was laid up with hip surgery. The caregiver, Maria, showed up promptly and was caring, accomplished and very efficient. She took care of me and my household when I had unexpected complications. I can't recommend this service enough; they are terrific!

I would recommend OYL homecare to anyone who is looking for personal care services for themselves or a loved one. We have had a fantastic experience with them, and they were very accommodating to our somewhat unique needs.Everyone in the organization has been a delight to work with. George seems to truly care about his mission and is driven to help his customers. Cheryl was very professional and knowledgeable and helped put us at ease during the onboarding meeting. Most importantly our assigned nurse has been fantastic. She has been a blessing in our home. She is reliable, capable and supportive with her care. In addition, she is very friendly, and keeps our mother engaged and active the entire time she is providing care.We will continue to use OYL homecare in the future and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for home care or personal care services.

I would recommend OYL to anyone who will listen. I had a unique and acute situation, and George and his staff jumped into action to help me (George was even out of town at the time). They knew I would not be a long term or lucrative client but they never treated me that way. Quite the opposite. My caregiver was sweet and kind. Based on my experience, I believe that George and his staff are in the business of helping people with the purest of intentions. This is the kind of business you want to support!

I am fortunate to have Debbie (my care giver). She tends to all my needs and we connected immediately, she has become my friend and we do many things together like our recent trip to the NC zoo (see pic). She is organized. neat, smart and very funny and we joke and laugh a lot. My experience with OYL has been very warm and I would recommend it to all.

A friend to help with daily living.

Focusing primarily on basic social life and activities of daily living, Companion Care Services offers a wide range of care plans, including:

Assistance with moving, dressing and grooming (brushing hair, filing nails, etc.)
Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
Light housekeeping and laundry
Meal planning, preparation, cleanup
Medication reminders and accompaniment to appointments and errands
Respite care for families
Cognition improvement games using advanced technology with online care plan assessments and check-ins

Focusing primarily on physical needs, Personal Care is provided by a trained caregiver who can do everything offered by our Companion Care Services, plus other care needs that require more personalized senior care interactions like:

Bathing, dressing, skin, mouth and hair care
Measuring temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure
Assist with prescribed range of motion (ROM) exercises
Assist with the use of ambulation devices (wheelchair, walker, etc.)
Assist with the change of a colostomy bag, reinforcement of dressing, etc.
Hospital transitions
Cognition improvement games using advanced technology  with online assessments  and check-ins

When we develop your loved one’s care plan, it includes a comprehensive host of offerings based on our exclusive care plan assessment. It takes into consideration the continuum of care as needs change, including incorporating our propietary technology into care planning to help the team deliver the best solution. Extended offerings such as hospital transitions, physician visits and whatever is required for full coverage are also available.*

24 Hour & Live-in Care

Comprehensive care planning incorporates care that starts with the needs of our client today and changes as needs change anywhere from 4-24 hours per day. If Live-In Care is needed, Live-In caregivers can remain in the home to provide care during the day and provide continuity throughout the week. Live-in Services may be added to the Companion Care and Personal Care packages.

Live-in Care is offered by a caregiver who stays in the client’s residence 24 hours a day.

Care will be provided by a caregiver who is qualified to meet the daily level of care needs of the individual client.
Caregiver must have uninterrupted sleep time in a separate sleeping room for privacy.

*At times, caregivers may require slightly higher billing rates for specialty care cases or cases that are particularly difficult to cover.

Cindi Miller

Owner

Cindi is a person of passion living a life filled with serving people. She brings her focus on kindness towards others by leading a family of caregivers dedicated to the seniors in the greater Triangle area. After graduating with honors from Clemson University and teaching middle school math, she made the decision to be a stay-at-home mother, raising four wonderful children where she learned the skills to be a negotiator, nurse, counselor, and caregiver. Cindi worked at a family dental practice for a number of years in roles from working with customers to managing insurance claims. When her husband’s mother unexpectedly passed away, she left the dental practice and took on the task of welcoming George’s father, suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s, into their home and serving as his primary caregiver until his passing. Cindi brings a heart for seniors and a career of caring for others to the local community as well as a passion for making a difference.

George Miller

Owner & Care Manager

George was a sales executive in the IT and cybersecurity industry with a philosophy of serving customers the same way he’d call on Saint Peter. “You’ll never pull the wool over Saint Peter’s eyes. He works for God, and God knows everything. We must sell with integrity and have the customers’ best interests always at heart.” After graduating from Clemson and marrying Cindi, George spent eleven years on active duty in the USAF after which he entered the technology sales business centered on clients in the Research Triangle Park area. He has led regional, national, and international sales teams. George provides strong business experience with an emphasis on customer service in support of their clients in the greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area.
