Our One You Love Homecare in Chicago, IL provides personal care and companionship to senior residents in the communities we serve through an individualized plan of care. One You Love Homecare Chicago Near North provides care for hourly needs 24/7 with the option for live-in care.  Our caregivers can assist with all personal and companion care needs; many families who are managing loved ones with Alzheimer’s or dementia find our unique approach and integrated technology a wonderful way for caregivers to actively engage clients and improve quality of life.  One You Love Homecare Chicago Near North enables clients to live independently in their own homes while maintaining dignity, good health, mental awareness, and a positive mindset.

Companion Care Services

Personal Care

24 Hour & 
Live-in Care

A friend to help with daily living.​

Focusing primarily on basic social life and activities of daily living, Companion Care Services offers a wide range of care plans, including:

  • Assistance with moving, dressing and grooming (brushing hair, filing nails, etc.)
  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Meal planning, preparation, cleanup
  • Medication reminders and accompaniment to appointments and errands
  • Respite care for families
  • Cognition improvement games using advanced technology with online care plan assessments and check-ins

For those who require a more hands-on approach to care.

Focusing primarily on physical needs, Personal Care is provided by a trained caregiver who can do everything offered by our Companion Care Services, plus other care needs that require more personalized senior care interactions like:

  • Bathing, dressing, skin, mouth and hair care
  • Measuring temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure
  • Assist with prescribed range of motion (ROM) exercises
  • Assist with the use of ambulation devices (wheelchair, walker, etc.)
  • Assist with the change of a colostomy bag, reinforcement of dressing, etc.
  • Hospital transitions
  • Cognition improvement games using advanced technology 
with online assessments

Our Round the clock live-in care for those requiring more. level of Senior Care.

When we develop your loved one’s care plan, it includes a comprehensive host of offerings based on our exclusive care plan assessment. It takes into consideration the continuum of care as needs change, including incorporating our propietary technology into care planning to help the team deliver the best solution. Extended offerings such as hospital transitions, physician visits and whatever is required for full coverage are also available.*

24 Hour & Live-in Care

Comprehensive care planning incorporates care that starts with the needs of our client today and changes as needs change anywhere from 4-24 hours per day. If Live-In Care is needed, Live-In caregivers can remain in the home to provide care during the day and provide continuity throughout the week. Live-in Services may be added to the Companion Care and Personal Care packages.

Live-in Care is offered by a caregiver who stays in the client’s residence 24 hours a day.

  • Care will be provided by a caregiver who is qualified to meet the daily level of care needs of the individual client.
  • Caregiver must have uninterrupted sleep time in a separate sleeping room for privacy.

*At times, caregivers may require slightly higher billing rates for specialty care cases or cases that are particularly difficult to cover.

Chris Watson is the proud Owner and President of One You Love Homecare Chicago Near North, Illinois. Chris has over 27 years of experience as a Management Executive in the information security and risk advisory services industry. His professional career focused on leading key growth initiatives and delivering successful strategies for international Fortune 500 companies all over the world. He developed business relationships, a strong business acumen, successful team building, and a passion for mentoring others. Over time, Chris decided he wanted a more people focused career where he could dedicate his time to others and thus began his journey to build a home care network committed to providing a familial aspect to caregiving for his clients and their loved ones. Chris has an unmatched passion for his community and developing positive environments for his clients and providing a personal review of his caregivers and care companions to ensure your loved one is cared for by the best.

Alondra Carmenatty

Director of Care & Operations
Alondra Carmenatty is the most recent addition to our team as the Director of Care and Operations at One You Love Homecare Chicago Near North. Alondra has been pursuing a health-focused computer science degree, with the hopes of creating an Artificial Intelligence that will increase mobility and reduce the recovery time of patients after traumatic injuries, and complicated diagnoses. Alondra began her career in healthcare in May of 2020 as a Patient Care Technician in the Emergency Rooms, ICU and COVID units of our Chicagoland Hospitals with the intention to pursue becoming a medical provider. During this journey she discovered her love for people and caring for others was a deeper passion for her and made her way through the ranks of the healthcare system. Alondra’s focus here at One You Love Homecare has become the process of bringing in the best team for our clients, training and supervising our caregivers and care companions, assuring our team is providing care that aligns with our core values.

Alison Watson

Co-Owner / Vice President
Alison Watson is the proud Co-Owner and Vice President of One You Love Homecare Chicago Near North, Illinois. Alison has over 20 years of experience as a marketing professional focused on client engagement in the hospitality and healthcare industries. She has also dedicated her time over the past 20+ years as a volunteer with multiple non-profit organizations focused on victims and survivors of domestic violence in numerous roles including as the President of the Board of Directors. She will utilize her experience and passion to help build and maintain employee and client relationships while assisting with the day-to-day operations of our home care agency.
