Leigh is thrilled to join the One You Love Homecare team in Cedar Park, Texas. Leigh brings a clinical background to the team having worked for many years as a licensed practical nurse in long-term healthcare, general medicine and gastroenterology.
Leigh has always found joy in working with elderly patients and truly developed a passion for senior care over the course of her career. Leigh quickly forged relationships with her patients and their families and was able to provide comfort and peace of mind as they navigated their diagnosis and/or procedure and subsequent office visits.
Leigh has deep empathy and understanding for family members caring for their loved ones. Leigh was by her grandmother’s side providing comfort when she would beg Leigh to take her home from her long-term care facility. Leigh also witnessed her aunt’s strong desire to be at home while she aged. Leigh’s family was not in a position to remain at home with her grandmother or her aunt and that left Leigh very sad.
Her greatest excitement, given her own personal journey with aging loved ones, is finding her role at One You Love Homecare filled with the opportunity to coordinate and foster a home-based center of care for aging seniors in her own community.
Leigh is the proud mother of Katrina, Owner/Operator of One You Love Homecare Cedar Park and Susana, an epidemiologist. Leigh absolutely adores her two grandchildren, ages six and eight. Leigh looks forward to being a part of an amazing team at One You Love Homecare and enriching the lives of those in her community who need care!
